Saturday Method Writing Workshops in July & August - Open Enrollment July 20-27

Dear Writers,

I'm teaching Method Writing again starting tomorrow. If you or somebody you know could benefit from finding or rediscovering your voice. If you need a safe and brave space to delve deep into the soul of who you are and pour it on the page, I will be here. This class is for poets, memoirists, fiction writers, dramatists, everyone. We start tomorrow bright and early at 9:30am and go until 12pm PST. Join us on the first day and check it out. Email me for the zoom link and I'll let you sit in on the first workshop if you want to check it out.

Warmly,

Alexandra Kostoulas

Course Description:

We want to connect with the world. We want to share the life that is inside us. We want to write poetry and prose that speaks the truth and moves the reader. But where do we start?

There’s a voice within all of us wanting to find its place in the world. The concepts and techniques in METHOD WRITING will lead you step by step, show you how to create compelling moments and scenes, how to move your reader with writing that jumps off the page and grabs them by the heart.

This class focuses on weekly journal writing using the techniques and concepts of Method Writing. Suitable for both poets and prose writers, beginners and advanced, this class will help you find your deep voice and use it to create clear and compelling written work.

This is a perfect workshop for a beginner or an experienced writer looking to find or rediscover their voice.

A Note from Alexandra:

I’m back at it in zoom. Excited to welcome writers into my first Method Writing workshop of the year! I forgot to promote this workshop, and a lot of people can't make the first meeting, so we're keeping enrollment for this workshop open until July 27. So, join either in week 1 (tomorrow), or week 2 (next week), and we will accommodate you. We will skip August 10 (and go asynchronous), and the rest of the workshops will be live.

Please let your friends know. Welcoming back new writers and returning writers.
